This is simply preserving the cooked meat of a rotisserie chicken.
At the warehouse clubs, the rotisserie chicken is of great value. And Sam’s and Costco also sell these chickens split and cold at a lesser price.
You can use the meat from the chickens that are hot in the display, or if they are available purchase the splits from the refrigerated section.
Batch portion the meat and use in soups, stews, and rice and pasta dishes that require chicken meat.

Rotisserie Chicken for Soups and Stews
Ingredients
- 2 lb Rotisserie Chickens, breast meat
Instructions
- Remove the skin and pull meat from the bones. Discard skin and bones. Roughly dice the meat and seal in a vacuum seal bag. Freeze until ready to thaw.
