Breakfast sausage is delicious, but who wants the mess of frying it every day or constantly cleaning up after it. By batch cooking your sausages, you can have par-cooked sausages ready to brown any morning you want.

You can even press 2-3 patties together to make a large sandwich patty and cook the same way.

    Preheat oven to 375.

    The box of Swaggerty's sausages sold at Sam's Club has 7 sheets of 6 patties. You can fit 4 sheets on a half-sheet pan. You can cook the entire box at one time with 2 half pans in the oven.

    Arrange the sheets of patties onto the sheet pans, with the patty paper on the bottom. You can remove the paper, but the paper will make it easier to clean and remove the sausages.

    Cook for 20 minutes until the sausages are 165 but not browning.

    Remove from oven and let cool.

    Seal and store for future use. When ready to use, brown the pre-cooked sausages in a pan on medium heat.
